We are pleased to announce that Tech Week has been moved up to October 19 – 23, 2009. Tech Week is changing its format and event dates to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the Business Technology Center (BTC). Tech Week was an outgrowth of the county’s dynamic and new (at that time) business incubator. In recognizing its 11 years of outstanding accomplishments, Tech Week will hold its signature Kick-Off event at the Business Technology Center in Altadena on Thursday, October 22, 2009.
Many of the county's key business and technology organizations and leaders are major supporters of Tech Week. Mike Antonovich, Los Angeles County Supervisor of the 5th District, L.A. County Supervisor Gloria Molina of the 1st District and Jon Fullinwider, the former County's Chief Information Officer, have been major supporters and participants of Tech Week. Events are attended by technology entrepreneurs, investors, specialty professionals, vendors and government officials.
Apart from a few invitation-only events, all other events are open to the public. We encourage anyone with an interest to attend. Invitation-only events will be clearly identified in the events section of this site.
Sponsors are the backbone of Tech Week. They promote and support the events of Tech Week and they gain the many promotional benefits that only Los Angeles County Technology Week TM can offer. The sponsor sheets explain how companies and organizations can receive the recognition and many advantages from actively participating in Tech Week.
Sponsorship participation includes: Premier, Platinum and Gold Sponsor levels. Exclusive sponsor opportunities are also available and can be customized for maximum promotional benefit.
